Biography
Yasser Tolooei holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics (Algebra) from the Isfahan University of Technology. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Ohio University in 2013 and subsequently began his official appointment as an Assistant Professor at Razi University in February 2014.
He has also been a visiting scholar at Artois University in France and the University of Padua in Italy. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Basic Sciences, at Razi University.
Throughout his career, he has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including Set Theory, General Mathematics, Ring and Module Theory, Algebra I, Coding Theory, and Elementary Number Theory. His regular graduate-level teaching includes Advanced Algebra, Ring Theory, Module Theory, Cryptography, Coding Theory, and Elliptic Curves.
His primary research interests lie in Ring and Module Theory within both commutative and non-commutative algebra, Homological Algebra, Cryptography, Coding Theory, and Algebraic Geometry. His supplementary academic interests also extend to coding, cryptography, psychology, and philosophy.
