Biography

Zahra Kalhori received her Ph.D. in Developmental Cell Biology from a joint program between Arak University and Razi University of Kermanshah in 2018. She completed both her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biology at Razi University. In 2023, she officially joined Razi University as a faculty member, where she is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Basic Sciences.

Throughout her academic career, she has taught a wide range of undergraduate courses, including Animal Histology, Animal Embryology, Human Embryology, Developmental Biology, and Animal Cell Differentiation. At the graduate level, she regularly teaches courses such as Animal Cell and Tissue Culture, and Methods in Histology. Her professional experience also includes collaboration with the Infertility Center (ACECR) from 2019 to 2022.

Her main research interests focus on infertility treatment, particularly polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); the effects of chemotherapy on the reproductive system; the study of folliculogenesis and spermatogenesis; as well as stem cell culture and their therapeutic applications.
