Biography

Maryam Sharafi earned her B.A. in Statistics from Razi University in 2004, her M.A. in Mathematical Statistics from Tarbiat Modares University in 2006, and her Ph.D. in Statistics from Shahid Beheshti University in 2011. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Faculty of Science, Razi University.

Throughout her career, she has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including Elementary Statistics and Probability, Probability I and II, Mathematical Statistics I and II, Statistical Methods, Nonparametric Methods, Reliability Theory, Numerical Methods and Simulation, and Data Mining. In graduate studies, she typically teaches Statistical Inference I and II, Advanced Statistical Inference, Advanced Simulation, and Advanced Data Mining. 

Her research interests encompass reliability theory, stochastic orders, nonparametric inference, information theory, censored data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and data mining.
