Biography

My teaching activities are in the field of condensed matter physics and general physics. My research activities focus on designing and performing nanoscale experiments to understand the physical behavior of materials. My research interests include: metamaterials, magnetoelectrics, electromagnetic wave absorbing materials, batteries, electrical, magnetic and optical sensors, solar cells, absorbent and thermoelectric clothing. My focus is on working at the interface between theory and experimental measurement and my goal is to develop fundamental knowledge for novel applications in nanoscale devices.
